1. Scope of Application
This refund policy defines the conditions under which purchases made on DietHelper.coach may be eligible for a refund.
It applies to all versions of the DietHelper software (Trial, Basic, Premium, Ultimate, Power Pack), as well as any physical products included in certain packages.
By making a purchase, the customer acknowledges having read and accepted these terms without reservation.
2. No Right of Withdrawal – Legal Basis
In accordance with Article VI.53 of the Belgian Code of Economic Law, the 14-day right of withdrawal does not apply to:
- Downloaded or activated computer software,
- Digital content delivered on an intangible medium,
- Customized or non-returnable goods.
Any activated license is deemed permanently consumed.
3. Conditions by Version
3.1. Free Trial – Free but Strictly Limited
- Valid for 7 days
- Limited features: no CircaTest, printing disabled, recipe creation non-printable
- One use per individual
- Personal download link, non-transferable
The trial is free and non-refundable. No priority technical support is guaranteed.
3.2. DietHelper Basic (1-Year License) – NON-REFUNDABLE AFTER ACTIVATION
The DietHelper Basic version is a 12-month license linked to a single computer through a unique machine ID.
- Delivered electronically after order confirmation.
- The 1-year period begins on the date the file is electronically sent by DietHelper, not on the purchase date.
- Activation is tied to a single device; duplication, transfer, or use on another device is technically impossible and contractually prohibited.
Once an activation key has been generated, the license is considered used, and no refund will be granted, even if:
- The software was not installed or used,
- The wrong version was purchased,
- The file proves incompatible with the customer’s setup.
Customers are strongly encouraged to test the free trial before purchase to verify compatibility.
Exception before activation: DietHelper may, at its discretion, accept a refund request within 7 days of file delivery, provided that:
- No activation key has been requested,
- No use or sharing of the file has occurred.
Requests must be addressed to contact@diethelper.coach.
DietHelper reserves the right to accept or refuse the request based on the evidence provided.
3.3. DietHelper Premium & Ultimate – NON-REFUNDABLE AFTER ACTIVATION
Premium and Ultimate versions are delivered by download only.
For Ultimate, an optional USB key may be ordered (not mandatory).
No refund request will be accepted once the activation key has been generated.
Before activation, a refund may exceptionally be granted if:
- No activation key has been requested,
- No file has been copied, shared, or distributed,
- The request is made within 7 calendar days of file delivery.
If an optional USB key was ordered with Ultimate, it must be returned intact, in its sealed blister pack, at the customer’s expense.
Procedure:
The customer must send a request to contact@diethelper.coach, including:
- Full name,
- Order number,
- Reason for the request.
A response will be provided within 72 business hours.
If a physical return is required (USB key), the refund will be processed within 14 days of receipt and verification.
General exceptions (all versions):
- Software activation = no refund
- Late return = refused
- Discounted products = non-refundable
3.4. Coach Power Pack – NON-REFUNDABLE AFTER OPENING
The Coach Power Pack includes:
- A personalized USB key,
- A printed training syllabus,
- A lifetime personalized license.
No refund will be granted if:
- The blister pack of the USB or syllabus has been opened,
- An activation has been performed,
- The product is returned in poor condition.
A return is only possible if:
- The package has not been opened,
- The request is made within 7 days of receipt,
- The return is made by registered mail, at the customer’s expense.
4. Technical Issues and Support
Before making any claim, the customer agrees to contact technical support:

Commitments:
- Response within 72 business hours,
- Assistance with installation or activation issues,
- Correction of confirmed bugs within 14 days.
A technical issue is not a valid reason for a refund, unless the software is unusable on a compatible system and no solution has been provided within 14 days.
5. Disputes
In the event of a dispute, both parties agree to seek an amicable solution.
Failing that, the courts of Namur (Belgium) shall have sole jurisdiction.
6. Modifications
DietHelper reserves the right to amend this policy at any time.
The applicable version is the one in force at the time of purchase.

9. International Applicability
This refund policy is drafted in accordance with Belgian law.
Jurisdiction: Without prejudice to the above, the courts of Namur (Belgium) shall remain the sole competent courts, unless mandatory provisions of consumer law in the customer’s country dictate otherwise.
Within the European Union (EU): This policy complies with Directive 2011/83/EU on consumer rights. National mandatory consumer protection rules in the customer’s country of residence may apply, without prejudice to the validity of the exceptions concerning software, digital content, and personalized products.
Outside the EU: This policy applies subject to mandatory consumer protection rules in the customer’s country of residence.
